Shopping bag Copyright Riga: a special project resulting from the collaboration for Design Week 24 between Nap Atelier and Martino Midali.
Shopping bag in 100% cotton fabric.
Measures: 38x 42 cm
The stripe is the exact measure of the style of Martino Midali, who has made it a key protagonist of his collections, eviscerating its ability to give movement. Eclectic and irreverent, its very nature has allowed Nap Atelier to place it at the centre of a series of furnishing accessories - consoles, tables and coffee tables - and design objects striped and handmade - lamps, cushions, fabrics, home accessories - in dialogue with the brand's women's creations. All of this in an equally emblematic combination of black and white, which has created a high-impact, heterogeneous and bohemian ambience, under the banner of the stripe reinterpreted in an innovative and modern way and perfect in all its variations.
Nap Atelier is the Milanese point of reference for those who want to furnish their homes out of the box and collaborates with renowned architects and interior designers whose roots are in the world of fashion. It is no coincidence that it is called an atelier, because here too the model, colour and detail of each creation is chosen just as if it were a dress to be worn. It is the brainchild of interior designer Stefania Passera who has made the home the nerve centre of her creativity and has dedicated herself to the design of interiors and furnishing accessories, encapsulating her style in collections based on a palette of soft colours and mixes of patterns in a harmony of shapes and different shades conceived in the name of harmony and protagonists of the Milanese space in Via Privata della Braida.
The Copyright Riga shopping bag was created to celebrate the collaboration between Martino Midali and Nap Atelier on the occasion of Design Week 2024.
On sale in the Brera store and on the website for the entire duration of the Salone, part of the proceeds of which will be donated to SVS Donna Aiuta Donna (SVS DAD), an anti-violence centre that helps and supports women in their recovery from violence. A commitment that the brand renews once again, demonstrating its proximity to social issues of common interest, even at a moment of leisure such as Design Week.
SVS DAD is part of the Anti-Violence Network of the Municipality of Milan to prevent and combat violence against women. It offers victims a listening ear, welcome, legal advice and assistance, employment guidance, and psychological support. It also provides training, information and awareness-raising for the prevention of the phenomenon. The president of SVS DAD is Alessandra Kustermann, who created the first public anti-violence centre in Italy, opened in 1996 at the Mangiagalli Clinic of the Policlinico di Milano.
